My friend Laura DeBow is an avid podcast listener.

I am not, but I think I'm about to be.

She posted today about five podcasts she listens to, either while driving, waiting in line to pick someone up from school, doing housework, etc.

I decided that I could certainly make better use of my time–time I think I'm using wisely because I'm doing something. Lately I've been considering how I use my time and decided I need to reclaim some of it. I think that honing my craft is an excellent start.

So, take a look at her list.

Tell me what you think.

Does a YouTube video count? I'm a visual learner.

Some of these podcasts (Helping Writers and Your Best Writing Life, for sure) have accompanying tangibles that might help you with the visual, Lindy. And Zena's shows are also avavilable as videos on YouTube. I hope you'll give podcasts another try!

Thanks for the shout-out, Theresa! I look forward to hearing what you think about multi-tasking with podcasts.

I've tried to listen to podcasts, but I'm so much more a visual than auditory learner that they just don't stick with me. Maybe I'll give it another go with one of those from Laura's list.
